For over a decade, PPMC and the West Powelton Concerned Community Council have joined forces to spread holiday cheer to families in West Philadelphia with an annual Children’s Holiday Party.
On December 16, 125 local children enjoyed a delicious breakfast (plus cookies!), as well as a magic show, a clown, a visit from Poppy and Branch from Trolls, and other entertainers. The highlight was of course the appearance of Santa Claus himself, who helped everyone get into the Christmas spirit early by distributing presents to all.
A special shout-out also goes to BBLM Architects for their generous sponsorship.
“The annual party is an honored tradition that truly shows PPMC’s commitment to the community and our holiday spirit,” said Kimberly Hibbs, executive assistant to the chief medical officer. “Without our assistance, these children would likely not be celebrating the holidays, so we are very grateful for the chance to directly connect with these local families and make the season special for them. We’re proud to say this was another successful year.”
