Experience “An Evening of Pure Imagination” at the
17th Annual Penn Presbyterian Medical Center Gala! PPMC’s staff, supporters, and friends are invited to come together on Friday, March 23, at Vie (600 N. Broad Street in Philadelphia) at 6:00 p.m to celebrate Presby’s groundbreaking achievements, exceptional patient care programs, and incredible staff.
All are invited to imagine how life can change in a flash when someone experiences a traumatic brain injury (TBI). For over five million Americans struggling with the daily physical, cognitive, and psychological struggles associated with TBI, it’s not a stretch. But imagine each of those people being able to access the care and resources necessary for their recovery, with a dedicated team by their side every step of the way.
That’s the reality that this year’s “Hospital Hero” is committed to.
Each year, PPMC recognizes a Hospital Hero and their team for their leadership, vision, and innovation. This year’s gala honors M. Sean Grady, MD – chair of Neurosurgery, the Charles Harrison Frazier Professor of Neurosurgery, and a professor of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery – and his many accomplishments in the field of traumatic brain injury.
Enjoy cocktails, dining, entertainment, and silent auctions in support of Grady and his team’s work. All proceeds will go to the Penn Center for Brain Injury and Repair’s “Mind Your Brain @ Penn Medicine.” This free, annual, patient-centered conference seeks to improve the quality of life for those affected by TBI, as well as their families and caregivers, through research, education, advocacy, and support. Your attendance and sponsorship will help patients recovering from TBI to not merely survive their “new normal,” but to thrive on their road to healing.
