The gala always proves to be one of the highlights of the year, and 2019 is sure to be a particularly special event. Each year, PPMC recognizes an exceptional Hospital Hero whose drive and innovative spirit inspire their colleagues and ensure Penn’s continued excellence, and fittingly, this year’s pick is Ralph Muller, Chief Executive Officer of UPHS, who will be stepping down in June. Over his 17-year tenure, Muller has expanded the health system’s regional footprint, reinvested in clinical and research programs and facilities, and transformed Philadelphia’s health care landscape by prioritizing interdisciplinary, patient-centered care. Join us as we celebrate his exceptional accomplishments and visionary leadership with an evening of cocktails, dining, and entertainment. All proceeds will support the creation of a new community pipeline from Penn Medicine Academy and PPMC.
