Thanks to the generosity of employees, volunteers and physicians Princeton Health’s annual food drive, the Plainsboro, NJ Food Pantry – and other anti-hunger programs in the area -- received 15 boxes packed with non-perishable foods, personal care items and cleaning products. This year marked the sixth annual food drive organized by Princeton Health.

“For the first five years, our food drive coincided with our annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. tribute to amplify his message of serving one’s community,” said Joanne Banner, Human Resources client service manager, who coordinates the food drive. “We moved the effort to the spring this year because we learned that the need exists throughout the year and tends to be greater outside the holiday season. It is so rewarding to see how our employees rise to the challenge and come together to support the needs of others within the community."
