Princeton Health Stars is a series of videos featuring employees whose work earned the praise of grateful patients. The tagline for the video series — “Meet the staff our patients rave about”— sums it up perfectly. Each video stars a Penn Medicine Princeton Health staff member whose exceptional care and service was called out multiple times in patient experience surveys, letters from patients or family members or the GetWell Network, an interactive patient TV system at Princeton Medical Center.
In each video, Princeton Health President and CEO Barry S. Rabner sits down with the staffer, reads some of the rave reviews, and then asks him or her to offer thoughts on what led to such memorable interactions for the patients. The employees share heartfelt sentiments about their dedication to the profession and making a difference in the lives they touch.
The videos are a hit with patients and employees alike on both Facebook and YouTube. Princeton Health has produced 17 to date, drawing more than 7,100 views on YouTube and generating strong engagement on Facebook.
The videos are also garnering critical acclaim as well, winning awards from the Healthcare Planning & Marketing Society of New Jersey and the PRSA Philadelphia Chapter.
“The Princeton Health Stars project gives us a great opportunity to recognize extraordinary employees who are role models for others throughout the organization,” Rabner said. “It also gives us a way to show patients and community members on social media what makes Princeton Health special. The response has been universally positive.”
