Holly Auer
Holly Auer has been named associate vice president for Communications. In addition to her current role as leader of the Penn Medicine Communications team, she will take on new responsibilities developing communications strategies and initiatives to showcase key institutional priorities.
Auer has shaped Penn Medicine’s position in news headlines across the nation since her arrival in 2007.
Her work to integrate communications activities for our growing health system led to an award-winning redesign and expansion of Penn Medicine’s suite of monthly internal publications, as well as redesigns of Penn Medicine magazine, the publication for alumni of the Perelman School of Medicine, and Simply Because, our annual community benefits report. She has also developed social media campaigns and new digital storytelling platforms to highlight Penn Medicine work, taking place from neighborhoods across our region to basic science laboratories.
