Penn Medicine Princeton Health was named a Center of Excellence by the Society for Obstetric Anesthesiology and Perinatology, a national organization promoting quality perinatal anesthetic care. It is one of only 39 hospitals and health care organizations nationwide to receive the designation this year.
“This designation demonstrates our dedication to our obstetric patients, emphasizing patient-centered care and patient safety,” said Agnes Lamon, MD, chief of Obstetric Anesthesia at Princeton Medical Center. “It is a credit to the nurses, midwives, and physicians in anesthesia, neonatology, obstetrics, and maternal fetal medicine who collaborate to care for every mom and baby in our hospital.”
