When we are truly engaged in consistently doing our very best work, we provide the highest quality of care to our patients, while increasing our own personal fulfillment. By fully engaging in our work together, we help achieve LG Health’s Vision of delivering on the promise of a healthier future.

Enhancing employee engagement is a key priority for our leadership team. Your feedback in our regular Employee Engagement Surveys identifies areas where we’re doing well, along with opportunities to improve our efforts to engage our employees.

More than three-quarters of our employees completed the most recent survey in October. I would like to thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, both positive and negative. Our leadership team and I value your opinions, and we are listening to you.

The survey results reflect your high level of commitment to LG Health and our patients. Our employees clearly take great pride in their work and our role in the community. It was especially gratifying to see how our culture of continuous improvement has given you a strong sense of empowerment.

The results also show areas where we need to focus continued attention. Specifically, we heard your concerns about stress, burnout and difficulty managing your workload. Providing support for employees who are experiencing these challenges will remain a priority.

In the coming weeks, you will hear more details about your department’s survey results, as well as next steps, from your manager. In some cases, department leaders will develop action plans to address specific engagement improvement opportunities.

While the Employee Engagement Survey gives us valuable insight, it’s just one way we encourage an open dialogue between you and your leaders. I hope you feel comfortable sharing your concerns and ideas with your manager, at your team’s regular huddles or directly with me.

Our leadership team and I will be actively involved in implementing changes based on your feedback. Together we will make LG Health and even better place for our patients to receive care – and for all of us to work, learn and grow.
