In July, Jan Bergen, president & CEO of LG Health; Alex Jorgensen, chief Human Resources officer; and Kay Brady, VP, Human Resources recognized LG Health leaders for their successful efforts to make LG Health an engaging place to work. The more than 40 leaders recognized at the celebratory luncheon had 2017 employee engagement survey results within the 90th percentile.
“Employees who are engaged deliver on our promise to provide a compassionate, extraordinary customer experience,” Bergen said as she addressed the leaders during the event. “Your work to ensure your employees feel engaged at work and feel empowered to share their ideas is crucial to our excellence as an organization and our long-term success in a changing health care environment.”
The event also recognized seven leaders whose employee engagement survey results were within the 96th percentile: Louise Gaydon, practice manager, the Heart Group of LG Health; Mary Halye, manager, Lancaster County Children’s Alliance; Jim O’Connor, senior director, Cardiology; Carla Dewald, director, Rehabilitation Services; Katinka Rodriguez, enterprise manager diagnostic, Laboratory; John Wood, MD, medical director, Lancaster General Health Physicians and Lancaster General Community Care Collaborative; and Lorenzo Galindo, MD, medical director, Laboratory.
