Alicia Jensen, BSN, Cardiology, was recently inducted into the Penn Medicine Nurse Clinician Academy. Jensen works on 6 East/West at Lancaster General Hospital.
The academy recognizes distinguished nurses in all practice settings who exemplify clinical excellence through the direct care of patients and families. Jensen was one of nine nurses honored at a recent ceremony in Philadelphia.
Jensen (third from left) was joined at the induction ceremony by Chief Nursing Officer Larry Strassner, Ph.D., MSN, as well as fellow academy members Lindsey Herr, BSN, (second from left) and Laura Connell, BSN, (far right), both of whom practice in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Women & Babies Hospital.
As part of the Academy, Jensen will join a cohort of nurses throughout Penn Medicine who will serve as ambassadors and work collaboratively to grow and improve practice in patient care.
