Instructor: Robin Hall
6 to 8 pm

In Spring 2021 The Penn Program offered its very first Mindfulness-based Stress Management course for People of Color. The program was an overwhelming success.

Penn is honored to be a part of this special program and hope to continue this as a regular offering. There are so many individuals in the POC community that can benefit from a safe and comfortable space to learn mindfulness.

Our signature 8-week MBSR course teaches you how to focus attention in order to cultivate self-awareness, change your habitual reactivity patterns and learn to respond to stress, rather than reacting to it. Participants in this experiential learning program will practice meditation during class and later explore how to utilize the learned tools and techniques in everyday life.
