The Abramson Cancer Center (ACC) is a dynamic, National Cancer Institute-approved, comprehensive cancer center whose members share the common goal of eliminating pain and suffering due to cancer. Our dedicated membership of over 350 scientists and physicians form a unique scientific community at the University of Pennsylvania who carry out basic, translational, and clinical cancer research across 8 schools and 47 departments on campus.
We welcome researchers and clinicians to become members of the ACC. Becoming a member allows you to receive announcements of funding opportunities and attend ACC-sponsored retreats and symposia. Members are also eligible to receive ACC news e-publications. Members are strongly encouraged to collaborate with other ACC investigators and to participate in ACC-sponsored events.
Members of the ACC are organized into formal Research Programs and have access to shared core facilities supported by the Cancer Center, and in some cases, other University of Pennsylvania stakeholders. Members are assigned to one of three categories representing their level of involvement in cancer research and clinical care.
To apply for membership, please electronically send your completed membership application, together with your current CV, NIH biosketch, pending and current grants, and any other supporting documents, as Word or PDF files, to Jennifer McGuire: rjen@upenn.edu
