Hospital Teams
APPs are integral members of our interprofessional clinical teams and deliver expert care in complex, fast-paced environments across our six-hospital locations - Chester County Hospital, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Lancaster General Hospital, Pennsylvania Hospital, Presbyterian Medical Center, and Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center. As providers, they care for some of our most acute and complex patients. APPs are essential in providing continuity, managing acute and critically ill patients at all inpatient levels of care, and supporting patients through crucial and vulnerable times of transition.
Ambulatory Teams
Penn Medicine Medical Group encompasses multidisciplinary teams providing ambulatory care services for patients with complex medical and surgical needs across the lifespan. APPs are indispensable members of these teams. They work in various locations in downtown Philadelphia as well as throughout the region from Lancaster to New Jersey. APPs provide essential clinical services at our practice of the future sites, housing multiple disciplines, in locations such as in Radnor, Valley Forge and Cherry Hill but also in stand-alone practices throughout the region.
Home Care
Penn Medicine At Home offers a full range of health care needs from the comfort of home, or in a Penn Medicine hospice location. APPs complement a multidisciplinary team of Penn Medicine expert staff, who are available to respond to patients' questions and concerns 24 hours a day.
Penn Medicine On-Demand
Penn Medicine OnDemand (PMOD) is a virtual internal medicine practice, providing urgent medical care services supported by APPs. The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
