Welcome to the Penn Program for Mindfulness. We make mindfulness and meditation practical, easy to learn, and relevant to modern life. If you've tried mindfulness before and decided that it's not for you, or if you already practice mindfulness but haven't experienced the benefits that you expected, give us a chance. We offer mindfulness and meditation techniques that meet the real needs of real people in our culture and our world. More than 25,000 individuals have completed our acclaimed eight-week Foundation Mindfulness Course. They've learned how to use mindfulness to help them to manage stress, cope with change, enhance communication, deepen relationships, and cultivate personal and professional growth.
Our participants experience dramatic improvements in mood, cognitive function, and health, and reductions in anger, anxiety, and depression. They tell us that they connect more deeply with what matters most. We have published research documenting that our approach improves performance, memory, and focus, and results in decreased burnout and stress at work and home. Mindfulness makes a difference!
