Parkinson's Disease, Deep Brain Stimulation

As an aircraft worker, tremors from Parkinson's disease (a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system mainly affecting the motor system) were preventing Roberto from doing what he enjoyed. After much research, Roberto and his family made the move to Philadelphia so that he could be treated at Penn Medicine. The neurosurgery team performed Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), and now Roberto can again do the things he enjoys.
