Visitors and staff at the Pavilion have food and drink options that include national celebrity chef Tom Colicchio's Root & Sprig cafe and Philadelphia coffee guru Thane Wright's Bower Café.
The Pavilion's cafeteria, Green Family Commons, is run by food service vendor AVIFoodSystems and incorporates a menu built off the Good Food Healthy Hospital Platinum Standard criteria. This means that the hospital offers a wide variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, prioritizes unprocessed meat, and makes soups from scratch, among other requirements.

Located on the first floor, the cafeteria features a salad bar, short order grill and deli, and a variety of freshly baked cookies and desserts featured daily.
Pavilion patients can personalize and order meals at bedside with the help of hospital ambassadors assigned to each room, who help make breakfast, lunch and dinner orders on tablets that interface with dietary management systems, ensuring that more than 25 nationally standardized therapeutic diets are followed.

Root and Sprig
Root & Sprig is a new fast casual concept from chef Tom Colicchio that delivers bold flavors and friendly service to patients, visitors, and employees throughout healthcare facilities nationwide. Root & Sprig's diverse menu offers everything from coffee and eggs for breakfast, to sandwiches and salads for lunch, available for in-store dining, delivery or catering. Bower Café is a hyper-local, experiential coffee shop specializing in high-quality La Colombe coffee and delicious pastry offerings. Owner Thane Wright brings new life and vision to the Philadelphia coffee scene by using his platform "to fuel a culture and environment that nests all walks and tribes" with a focus on good vibes and simplicity of service.
