Our chemical peels exfoliate your skin to reveal a brighter, refreshed complexion. By stimulating new skin growth, peels soften fine lines, rebuild collagen, and create a lighter skin appearance.
Our skilled aestheticians will blend a custom peel based on your unique skin type and needs, and they may recommend a single treatment or multiple treatments.
A treatment lasts 30 to 45 minutes and can dramatically improve:
- Rough or dry skin
- Dull complexion
- Uneven skin texture
- Sun-damaged skin
- Acne scarring
- Rosacea skin changes
The Penn Experience
How our chemical peels work
No two people have the same skin, and our skin care specialists know that. They begin each appointment by carefully examining your skin to determine the best type of chemical peel to meet your individual needs.
Next, using a technique called dermaplaning, the aesthetician exfoliates eight to 10 layers of skin cells from your face. He or she then gently applies a liquid peeling agent, which remains on the skin for 30 seconds to two minutes, depending on your skin type.
After the treatment, the aesthetician cleans your pores and applies a calming mask, followed by moisturizer and sunblock. Our skin care experts will then provide you with an individualized skin care regimen to maintain and improve your glowing skin.
Chemical peel cost
Chemical peel costs vary based on your specific treatment goals and other services you may also undergo. Your surgeon will discuss the cost of chemical peel with you during your consultation, and our team is always available to help establish a chemical peel payment plan that works for you.
Chemical peel risks
Sometimes people experience minor side effects from chemical peels. Potential side effects include redness, some peeling and breakouts. To reduce the chance of these side effects, our aesthetician will work closely with you to develop the best treatment approach and follow-up care for you.
