The Penn Experience
Your stay
You're welcome to stay on-site at the deluxe Penn Pavilion, but we also have a special partnership with the beautiful Rittenhouse Hotel in downtown Philadelphia.
Both options offer an around-the-clock nurse (at a discounted cost) and the highest level of personalized service and comfort. As a valued patient either at the Penn Pavilion or at Rittenhouse Hotel, you can expect:
- Express check in and check out
- A private room with soothing earth tones
- Fine linens, plush robe, boutique toiletries and a refrigerator
- A variety of gourmet meals
- A concierge to assist you in scheduling personal services
- Cable and wireless internet
Above all else, we prioritize your health and safety. Our staff will be available to assist you with scheduling follow-up visits, securing medical reports and films, obtaining prescriptions prior to discharge and anything else you may need during your recovery.
Private nurse
You may be interested in hiring a private nurse to care for you in the day or days immediately following your procedure. Our certified nurses put your safety and comfort first, and they will meet you in the recovery room before escorting you to your hotel or the Penn Pavilion. The cost of our nurses varies, and we will outline those fees for you prior to your surgery.
If your treatment requires that you undergo anesthesia, you must arrive in Philadelphia at least 24 hours prior to your treatment in order to minimize the risk of blood clots. You'll also have a minimum length of stay, dependent on your procedure.
