Tara Bachman is a Diagnostic Medical Physicist for Penn’s Environmental Health & Radiation Safety Office (EHRS). Tara works closely with other medical physicists in EHRS in x-ray compliance and safety across UPenn’s campus and various Penn Medicine sites. Tara has over 20 years’ experience in diagnostic medical physics and radiation safety which included the position of Radiation Safety Officer. Tara attended the University of Pennsylvania as an undergrad and is a native “Philadelphian”. Outside of work, Tara enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids, traveling, and cheering on her favorite Philadelphia sports’ teams.
