Michael O’Shea has been at Penn Medicine since March 1999. Michael received a BS in Electrical Engineering from New Institute of Technology and a MS in Physics from Polytechnic Institute of New York University. Michael was an Electrical Engineer for 15 years before changing careers to Diagnostic Imaging Physics. Since becoming an Imaging Physicist, he found MRI the most intriguing imaging modality. Michael’s Electrical Engineering background provides a better understanding of this complex modality and in-turn find it easier to share is knowledge with the resident. Michael enjoys his personnel time playing golf, watching NFL and College football and traveling Europe with his wife.
