Mr. Scheuermann earned his BS in Physics from St. Joseph’s University and Master of Medical Physics from the University of Pennsylvania. His research interests include internal radiation dosimetry, quantitative PET and SPECT imaging, and standardization and automation of quality control procedures. His responsibilities in Radiology include oversight of the PET and SPECT quality assurance and dosimetry programs in the Nuclear Medicine division, performance testing of PET and SPECT systems, radiopharmaceutical dosimetry analyses, and development and optimization of clinical research protocols for PET and SPECT imaging. His responsibilities in Radiation Oncology include machine/patient quality assurance, and treatment planning/machine support in the proton clinic. Mr. Scheuermann is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Nuclear Medical Physics. He sits on the ABR Initial Certifying and Oral Exam Committees for Nuclear Medical Physics. He is a member of the MPGP Faculty Advisory Committee.
