Kyle D. Williams (he/him) joined IPRP as the fourth resident in July 2023. Kyle received his MS in Medical Physics from Duke University, with a concentration in diagnostic imaging. His thesis focused on modifying the prostate MRI protocol at the Duke Hospital to allow for scans without use of the endorectal coil by estimating the quality of the patient's prostate based on patient size. He has also worked in dose modification for cardiac CT and patient comfort for SPECT breast imaging. Outside of his research, he also was Chair of the DEI committee in the Graduate and Professional Student Government and cares deeply about equitable representation. In his free time, he enjoys playing marimba, learning how to cook, watching NBA, playing video games, and hosting friends.
