Focus
The IMPACT lab is dedicated to developing CT and cone-beam CT imaging technologies guided by a rigorous understanding of imaging science. Active research areas include: (1) development and analysis of deep learning image formation algorithms, (2) spectral imaging: system design and material decomposition algorithms, (3) radiomcis standardization guided by imaging physics, (4) non-circular trajectory for cone-beam CT: design, reconstruction, and clinical translation.
Open Positions
We always welcome highly motivated and highly skilled students, post-doctoral researchers, and research scientists to join the group. For prospective students, strong programming and quantitative skills are necessary. Knowledge in signal processing, random processes, and optimization are most relevant to projects in the lab. For post-doctoral fellows and research scientists, expertise in at least one of the following areas is required: (1) imaging physics/imaging chain modeling, 2) subjective image quality evaluation, 3) analytic and/or model-based tomographic reconstruction, 4) hardware integration. Please contact us with a copy of your CV and specific research areas you are interested in.
