Emergency Medicine is an exciting, diverse, challenging, and evolving medical specialty that focuses on the acute care of patients with all types of illnesses.

Established in 1997, the UPENN Occupational and Environmental Medicine Residency program meets a critical need by providing mid-career physicians formal, ACGME accredited, NIOSH and HRSA supported residency training. There have been 112 graduates to date.
