Research Fellowship in Emergency MedicineWe are pleased to announce a new program in 2024 – a two year fellowship in Emergency Medicine research. Open to applicants who have finished accredited EM residency programs, this fellowship program is designed to train the next generation of EM physician-scientists and leaders in EM scholarship.

The fellowship will include reduced clinical service in Penn Medicine Emergency Departments, enrollment in a two year Masters program at Penn (e.g., Masters in Science in Clinical Epidemiology, Masters in Public Health, Masters in Translational Research or Masters of Science in Health Policy Research), and a mentored research experience with one or more Penn EM faculty members. Fellows will conduct independent research with the goal of peer-reviewed publications and a refined focus of research leading to submission of funding award applications during the transition to faculty positions.
