Philadelphia City-wide Training Courses
Penn PM&R residents benefit from shared learning experiences with our counterparts across Philadelphia. Yearly courses include:
- Musculoskeletal Ultrasound: Penn Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine (PIRM)
- Prosthetics and Orthotics: Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania
- Electrodiagnostic Medicine: Jefferson Medical College
- Gait/Orthotics: MossRehab
Informal Departmental Educational Opportunities
Throughout the year the Penn PM&R department provides after hours hands on sessions led by faculty and senior residents. Common sessions include:
- Evening hands on sessions for introduction to electrodiagnostic studies
- Evening and weekend hands on sessions with musculoskeletal ultrasound
- Evening hands on sessions with spine models for fluoroscopically guided procedures
