Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Who Should Apply?
Residents from any Penn Medicine residency program can apply.
  2. Do residents need to know how to do a quality improvement project?
Absolutely not! We will work with you from July to November 2024 to help you select and design an improvement initiative project within the healthcare system. Additionally, we will provide you with the skills and opportunity to work with an already established multidisciplinary team to complete your chosen project.
  3. What is the time commitment?
The track is a two-year program. During these two years, you will be expected to spend a minimum of 7 weeks to the curriculum and related activities. You will also be expected to attend a number of evening seminars.
