Frank T. Leone, MD, MS - Director
Dr. Leone is a practicing pulmonologist and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a formally trained epidemiologist and has been very active in clinical research and clinician education. He has been involved with clinical smoking cessation since 1993 and has an extensive publication record in tobacco use treatment. Dr. Leone serves on several committees of national professional societies related to tobacco.

Sarah Evers-Casey, MPH, CTTS-M - Associate Director
Sarah Evers-Casey is responsible for integrating all aspects of the Program, including patient care systems, community education and cessation, tobacco control, and research. In addition to providing direct patient counseling in the clinic, her scholarly activities have focused on developing and implementing training programs for physicians, medical students, and community providers. She has successfully contributed to the current understanding of effective educational methods in each of these areas by presenting her findings at several national tobacco professional meetings. Sarah earned a Master's degree in Public Health from Columbia University, Mailman School of Public Health. She is the Course Director for Penn Stop's training opportunities.

Jody Nicoloso, CTTS-M - Project Coordinator
Jody Nicoloso is responsible for coordinating meetings with health care professionals and behavioral specialists that prepares them to help people quit smoking. In addition, she is also responsible for the distribution of nicotine replacement therapy to cessation providers in Southeast PA. Jody earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from West Chester University and has over ten years of experience working with people who have special needs. She is also certified as a Master Tobacco Treatment Specialist.

Tierney A. Fisher, DNP, CRNP - Clinical Program Coordinator
Tierney Fisher is a board certified Nurse Practitioner, credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Widener University in 2012, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey - School of Nursing Camden in 2016. Tierney coordinates the inpatient tobacco dependence consult service for both the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania and the Penn-Presbyterian Hospital. She is available to see patients in our outpatient clinic, in multiple locations.
