From Jan. 9 through Oct. 31, 2024, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will replace the 34th Street bridge, affecting traffic in University City and West Philadelphia.

For people traveling on I-76 to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, the Pavilion, or the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine, we recommend taking the South Street exit (Exit 346) instead of the Grays Ferry Avenue/University Avenue exit.
