These opportunities include:

1. core training in quality and safety for all residents and fellows as a standard part of our graduate medical education training programs
2. a two-year pathway or 'track' integrated into the internal medicine residency program for residents interested in careers in quality and safety leadership,
3. a degree-granting fellowship program in quality and safety for fellows and junior faculty and
4. numerous intramural and extramural opportunities for our faculty to build further expertise in quality and safety.
