The Preventive Cardiology section uses the latest technologies to develop personalized cardiovascular risk assessments and effective approaches for the management of cardiovascular risk factors. The goal of our team is to reduce future risk as much as possible both in patients with heart disease and patients without heart disease. To accomplish this mission of optimizing a patient's risk we use lifestyle interventions and a variety of medications. All of our faculty are lipidologists, with special expertise in treating cholesterol disorders. We also offer multiple cutting edge research trials for appropriate patients.
