The Cell Therapy and Transplantation Program at Penn Medicine’s Abramson Cancer Center is committed to Research, Clinical care and educating clinician-scientists in new discoveries and advances in cell and gene therapies. Dr. Hexner has two major research interests in malignant hematology: cellular therapies/ hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and experimental therapeutics in myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN). Both have a translational focus and align with her clinical roles as Medical Director of the Center for Cellular Immunotherapies and as Director of the MPN program at the University of Pennsylvania. She also serves as the Associate Director of the NIH CTSA-funded Masters in Translational Research program, where she co-directs a graduate level course in cell and gene therapy.
