The Toxicology Division has published many observational and descriptive studies on emerging trends and complications of drug abuse in urban populations. Most recently, the focus has been geared toward the implications and factors contributing to the expanding prescription drug epidemic and assessing and measuring factors aimed at mitigating morbidity. Students and residents are engaged in ongoing projects.
