Anesthesia

The greatest advancement in joint replacement has been in the area of anesthesia. There is evidence that less pain medication is necessary if you have a preemptive analgesia administered before surgery, allowing for participation in therapy sooner.

Post-Op Hospital Surgical Management

After your operation, you will heal in a post-anesthesia care unit to manage your pain. Afterwards, you will go to a floor where rehab begins. It all starts with an early functional recovery to get you moving as quickly as possible.
