The Division participates intensively in the education and training of undergraduate students, medical and graduate students, combined degree students, medical residents, and GI fellows.
The Division of Gastroenterology offers undergraduate students, medical students and medicine interns/residents (and other disciplines) opportunities to do research in basic and translational science (stem cell/developmental biology and regenerative medicine, genetics, cancer biology, and immunobiology), clinical research (pharmacoepidemiology, outcomes research) and population science (quality, safety, and outcomes research), all linked to a spectrum of GI, liver and pancreatic diseases.
Undergraduate students, see the Undergraduate Student Scholars Program.
Medical students and interns/residents, see the Center for Molecular Studies in Digestive and Liver Diseases.
