Physicians in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology provide patients with cutting-edge care, supported by one of the largest and best-funded Digestive Diseases research programs in the country, encompassing basic, translational, health services, and clinical trial components. Research in the Division is sponsored by the National Institutes of Health and other federal funders, foundations, and industry. There are many clinical trials open to patients.
