The objective is to build on the world class imaging research environment at Penn to develop a cadre of scientists with the knowledge and vertically integrated set of skills to conduct research at the interface between imaging and the biomedical, physical, chemical, engineering, and computational sciences.

Research areas include medical imaging and instrumentation, Imaging theory and analysis, and cellular and molecular imaging.
