An interesting fact about you: Can recite the alphabet backwards really quickly

Ianto completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied molecular and cell biology and computer science. He was also heavily involved in the Berkeley Free Clinic where he was a section coordinator, working to provide free healthcare in the city. Prior to medical school, he worked as a full-stack software engineer at a small startup in San Francisco, launching the world's first machine learning powered programming copilot. He then found his way to the University of Pennsylvania for medical school, and stayed as a resident to pursue Interventional Radiology.

At Penn, Ianto serves as a current chief resident (2024-2025). He is also an organizer of the yearly two-week "How to be an academic radiologist" symposium.

In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, tinkering with code, reading about math, and wasting his time trying to train his cats, Iroh and Dyson.
