About Dr. Xi
Ianto was born in China but very quickly expatriated to the US, ultimately ending up in Cupertino, California. He studied molecular and cell biology and computer science at UC Berkeley. He joined a small start up in San Francisco after graduating, where he worked as a full-stack software engineer to bring the first AI-powered programming copilot to market. He soon switched gears to attend medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, where he stayed as a resident in Interventional Radiology.
He is one of the current chief residents (2024-2025), and is one of the co-organizers of the How to be an Academic Radiologist symposium. He loves learning about new technologies and discovering how we can best use them to help others.
