About Dr. Shin

Max is a PGY2 resident in the integrated cardiothoracic surgery residency program. He received his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Cornell University. He completed medical school at the Perelman School of Medicine (UPenn). His research interests include valve disease and heart failure. He plans to pursue a career in academic cardiac surgery.
