About Dr. Elhage

Dr. Elhage attended Clemson University and The Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his general surgery residency training at The Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, serving as Administrative Chief Resident in his final year. He participated in a yearlong research fellowship during his general surgery training. He is interested in pursuing a career in academic plastic surgery.

Research

Dr. Elhage completed a research fellowship at the Carolinas Laparoscopic & Advanced Surgery Program from July 2019 to June 2020. His research predominantly focused on abdominal wall reconstruction, artificial intelligence imaging analysis used to predict surgical outcomes, and surgical education.
