About Dr. Makhoul

Alan T. Makhoul is a PGY3 integrated plastic surgery resident. After graduating from Duke University with a B.A. in chemistry, he went on to pursue his medical education at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. At Vanderbilt, he served as a Plastic Surgery Research Scholar, dedicating a year to his research in medical education, surgical equity, and bioethics. Alan plans to pursue a career in academic plastic and reconstructive surgery.
