About Dr. Wilson

Dr. Alexander Wilson is a PGY4 resident in the integrated plastic surgery program. He completed his undergraduate studies at Wofford College, obtaining a BS in chemistry in 2013. Following a career in professional baseball he attended medical school at Yale University and graduated in 2021. While at Yale he developed a keen interest in pediatric craniofacial surgery research and pursued this interest abroad at the Dutch Craniofacial Center in Rotterdam as a PhD student. His work focused on neuromorphometry in syndromic craniosynostosis patients utilizing automated image-processing pipelines. He received his PhD in 2021 from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. His clinical interests include pediatric and craniofacial surgery, aesthetic surgery, and microsurgery.
