About Dr. Morales

Carrie Z. Morales is a PGY4 resident in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She graduated from Tufts University in 2015 with majors in Biology and Child Development and received her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in 2021. She spent dedicated research time working at the NYU Department of Population Health on an NIH stroke disparities study and as a Craniofacial Research Fellow in the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Morales is the Associate Deputy Director of the Center for Surgical Health. She is interested in pursuing a career in academic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with a focus on subspecialty surgical service delivery to marginalized populations.
