Dr. Douglas (Doug) Bryant is our PM&R-trained Primary Care Sports Medicine fellow. He grew up in Princeton, NJ and went to the University of Michigan for his undergraduate degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology with a minor in Medical Anthropology. While at the University of Michigan, he was a member of the Division I Men’s Lacrosse Team. He moved south to the University of South Florida for medical school and completed PM&R residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He served as chief resident during his 4th year of residency. He is excited to be back on the east coast for sports fellowship at Penn! Some of his clinical interests include ultrasound, taking care of college athletes, and concussions. He enjoys playing all sports, running, watching Michigan football, playing Mario Kart, and exploring all the amazing restaurants that Philadelphia has to offer!
