The Department of Ophthalmology and the Scheie Eye Institute would like to extend our deep gratitude to the Scheie community following our opening of the Measey Surgical Innovations Core at Scheie (MSICS): a state-of-the-art facility to which many contributed over the course of several years, and a reflection of our collective commitment to advancing ophthalmic education.
As we reflect on the culmination of several years of dedication and effort, we are grateful for the overwhelming support that has made the Measey Surgical Innovations Core at Scheie a reality: for our supporters, your acts of generosity have laid a strong foundation for the innovative work we aspire to do, starting with a new training facility to shape the next generation of ophthalmologists and surgeons and transform the boundaries of what is possible to achieve in ophthalmic care. We thank all whose leadership and vision have been instrumental in bringing this goal to fruition.
The inauguration of the Measey Surgical Innovations Core at Scheie symbolizes both the growth of our facilities and the strengthening of our shared commitment to collaboration and innovation. This milestone reflects our Department's ongoing excellence in surgical education and highlights the impact our new facilities bring to our mission. As we look forward, our goal is to continue to build on this mission, driven by our community’s vision, friendship, and support.
