The Department of Ophthalmology celebrated the establishment of the first annual Vision Science Symposium in 2023.
The Vision Science Symposium stems from the collective ambition of the Department's faculty to enhance research collaboration, integrate diverse scientific disciplines, and showcase groundbreaking advancements in vision science.
The Symposium brings together experts from various specialties, such as neurology and cellular and molecular biology (CAMB), both fostering and celebrating the Department of Ophthalmology's interdisciplinary collaborations.
Thank you to our most recent featured speakers: Department of Ophthalmology Chair Emeritus Stuart L. Fine, MD, FM Kirby Center President Justin Kiczek, and Nobel Prize Laureate Drew Weissman, MD, PhD.
