I chose Penn for Anesthesiology because: Penn consistently displayed their dedication to education, community, support, and community. Throughout the recruitment process, they made a huge effort to demonstrate to applicants that their residents came first and that everyone in the program was dedicated to making them feel welcome, teaching residents, helping residents and need, and making sure residents were happy. Coupled with the unparalleled clinical education Penn offers offers, I cannot see myself in a program that cares more about maintaining a positive and respectful culture and wellbeing of residents.
What fun or exciting fact would you like your future colleagues to know about you? I was born in Colombia and absolutely love traveling there as many times a year as I can. I also love being able to take friends and showing them the beautiful things there are to see in Colombia.
