About Dr. Luks

Valerie Luks is a chief resident in General Surgery. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University in 2011. She then spent two years working in a Genetics Lab at the Boston Children’s Hospital before attending Yale University School of Medicine. At Yale she completed an additional year of research in which she obtained her Masters in Health Sciences before completing her medical degree in 2018. She plans to pursue a career in academic medicine.
