About Dr. Barbur
Dr. Barbur is a PGY2 categorical resident in general surgery. She completed a degree in Biomedical Engineering on the medical imaging track at Case Western Reserve University before receiving her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Iulia has consistently maintained a focus on mentorship and research and hopes to combine both in pursuing a career in academic surgery. She has served as a start-up co-founder and her research interests span the engineering, basic science, bioethics and palliative care disciplines.
