About Dr. Liu

Clarissa Liu is a PGY3 categorical resident in general surgery. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering. She subsequently obtained her Medical Degree from Vanderbilt University with a certificate in biomedical ethics. Her research focuses on ethical issues in medicine and surgery and medical education. Dr. Liu plans to pursue a career in academic surgery. Her clinical interests include trauma and transplant surgery.
